ROBERT KUPISZ OPERA COLLECTION FW 2015/2016

Kilka dni temu odbył się pokaz najnowszej kolekcji Roberta Kupisza w industrialnym wnętrzu Soho Factory, miejscu sentymentalnym dla projektanta. Pokazał tam swoją pierwszą autorską kolekcję zapoczątkowując tym samym modę na styl kupiszowy.

Od momentu, w którym dostałem zaproszenie na pokaz kolekcji „Opera” na sezon jesień-zima 2015/2016 zacząłem zastanawiać się, co kryje pod swoją nazwą. Czy projektant pokaże na wybiegu zwiewne sukienki i dopasowane garnitury, zachowując przy tym styl glamour? Czy zrezygnuje ze swojego ulubionego grunge'u? Wydawało mi się to mało prawdopodobne. Nie pozostało mi nic innego, jak znaleźć odpowiedź na samym wybiegu.

BOHOBOCO 5TH ANNIVERSARY

Niedawno polska marka Bohoboco obchodziła swoje okrągłe 5 urodziny. Marka, którą tworzy duet projektantów: Kamil Owczarek i Michał Gilbert Lach, których niewątpliwie można zaliczyć do gorących nazwisk polskiej mody. Mody, która niewielkimi krokami dogania zagraniczny rynek, jednak takie marki jak Bohoboco, zdecydowanie przyspieszają cały ten proces.

Tym razem nie sam pokaz mnie oczarował, lecz cała jego oprawa. Już przed wyjściem pierwszej modelki wiedziałem, że to będzie najlepsza kolekcja duetu, jaką zobaczę. Nie myliłem się. Scenografia w Hali Expo, w której odbywał się pokaz zachwyciła większość gości. Białe postumenty w kształcie monumentalnych liter i figur geometrycznych dawały wrażenie potęgi marki Bohoboco. Wybieg był łamany z ruchomym podestem, przebiegał przez całą halę dając gościom obejrzenie kolekcji z każdej perspektywy. Natomiast muzyka grana na żywo, wprowadzała wszystkich w nadzwyczajny nastrój. To wszystko za sprawą fortepianu i skrzypiec, kótymi dowodzili: Nick Betourne i Krystyna Steczkowska.

THE SECRET GARDEN

My dear ones! If you follow my fan page on Facebook you must know that my blog in celebrating its 3rd birthday! Therefore, I present you the outfit, which I think best presents my style. It can be described in three words: colorful, elegant and extravagant.

Recently, I noticed that the interior of my wardrobe has changed a lot. I have more patterned lackets and classic forms of clothing. Of course, juicy color will never disappear, because it is in a sense my second soul. I wear jackets very often, as well as shirts and moccasins. My style became more Italian and Dandy and I hope my friends from southern Europe will be proud of me.

It's hard for me to tell which part of clothing plays the most important role in this set. It's all because of colors and patterns. I mixed pants with Indian pattern - paisley with an equally extravagant jacket by American brand "Condom Brothers". In order to expose beautiful design of jacket and trousers I decided for pastel pink shirt. As a true man of fashion, I had to have a navy blue hat and a naroow tie. To be sincere, I admire my shoes the most. Suede, Lord styled moccasins which I felt in love with form the first sigh, perfectly match the spirit od the entire photoshoot.

Undoubtedly, this styling is for the brave men. Of course, jacket and trousers can be combined with something more subdued. After all, not every guy is as "crazy" as me! But don't forget about the details, such as socks or cuff-links - they ass some ind of sophistication to the whole styling.

TOMAOTOMO FASHION SHOW | "THE ONE" COLLECTION

Recently, in the Soho Factory in Warsaw there was a fashion show and presentation of the latest collection by Tomasz Olejniczak, better known as Tomaotomo. This was the second show organized in industrial interiors of the building.

I must admit that I waited impatiently for this evening. I've known Tomek for a long time and carefully watched his creativity and development. I am glad that the designer is very ambitious and he develops Tomaotomo brand. He recently opened a boutique in one of the most exclusive places in Warsaw, in the shopping center „Plac Uni”.

ALEXANDER WANG X H&M

We have been able to admire Alexander Wang’s limited collection for the Swedish brand H&M for 1 week now. All kinds of fashion connoisseurs have been waiting for this collection. Well, it's no wonder that I was very excited since as early as April (when Wang announced his cooperation with H&M on his Instagram profile) and couldn't wait to see and buy clothes from his collection. There was of course a reason why my heart had been beating faster than usual. I love this American designer and since he made his debut in 2007, I’ve been watching his collections very carefully. He is 31 years old and is currently the creative director of the Fashion House of Balenciaga. He is a master in combining sports clothes with a sophisticated design. This can well be seen in the limited run collection by Wang for H&M. 

TOMAOTOMO FASHION SHOW - BACKSTAGE

What we can see on the catwalk during the fashion show its really the end result of long, creative struggles of the designer. Day of the show connects with a huge dose of stress and uncertainty, starting with the organizational, aspects, ending with the positive reception of the collection. Therefore, on my blog a new formula of posts will be introduced. I want to show you how the preparations look like, how are the final hours before the first model on the catwalk appears organized. I will introduce you to the world of backstage, where you’ll get to know make-up artists, stylists and directors of fashion shows. I would like to start with the latest collection by Tomasz Olejniczak, known more as a Tomaotomo, which took place few days ago in Soho Factory in Warsaw. A review of Tomasz’s collection and the event itself will be posted on the blog soon!

POLISH DANDY

Once my teacher of costumes said to me, "Looking at your colorful, elegant stylization I think you'll be once a dandy in Polish fashion industry." More and more I'm to agree with it.

Dandies style is definitely my favourite. My wardrobe is diverse, eclectic, but with extravagance and colors which I identify the most. Then I feel more confident, happier and fulfilled. I feel like myself.

But now you must turn for the secunde to the true nature colorful men. The origins date back to the nineteenth century dandies. Dandyism is not only exaggerated care for the perfect dress and matching colors, but most of all a way of being. Nonchalance, extravagance and elegance in behavior. When other people dressed to live, dandies  live to  dress. Today dandies can be found in different countries. However, the greatest number of inhabited areas of the Congo. Colorful suits, shirts, hats, ties and dress shoes. Hence, my strong interest in street fashion in Africa.

In my today's styling violin plays great, double-breasted jacket. It combines all the most important things. Colors, patterned fabric and splendor. It reminds me a bit of Versace style. It comes from the company's Condom Brothers, whose clothes you can buy in America, Asia, and also in Poland. I listed up with a wide bottom. I chose bells in edge-colored bottle green. I never thought that the bells again be hosted in my closet after 10 years. The golden rule is: "Never say never!" :) I chose awesome and unique bag with a paisley pattern, which could not fail to styling straight real dandy!

ITALIAN PERFECTION

The suit for many people is only associated with men's formal clothing which is designed only for stiffs. Nothing could be further from the truth. Suit is a synonim of masculinity, class and elegance! Its origins go back to the early years of the twentieth century and it was mainly used for the informal meetings. Men were wearing frock coats and overcoats for the most important party.

Today, the suit has taken a new character. It became an inherent element of every genuine man's wardrobe. In the market we can find not only formal suits, but also everyday's and more sporty. The biggest fans of suits are the Italians. Not without a reason. It turns out that Italian tailors are masters of sewing the costumes. So I love Italian style very much. A 90% of my wardrobe is made up of a large number of shirts and jackets. The jackets are ideal for every day and multifunctional. You can put it on to work, for a walk or to a party in the club. Everything depends on our creativity.

Today I chose sapphire and sporty suit from Bytom brand. I wanted my styling to be elegant, but not conservative . So I had to use extravagant accesories. I mean a beautiful necklace, earring with fringe and a red polka-dot socks. Of course, I have taken care of a coherent whole, hence the blue hat, painted shoes and tuxedo belt .

In this styling, you can see the very unique bag made ​​of Italian leather by Fidler brand  which paid attention of Antonio de Amico (soon more details). The sunglasses comes from well-known Cazal company, which biggest fans are rap stars  including Kanye West and Jay -Z. They occupy a special place in my entire collection of sunglasses. 

I like today's styling. Not only because of its elegance, but mainly refinement. It refers to the Italian style  and I myself feel very confident in it. Therefore, in this season I will choose classic cuts of clothes and greater elegance. 

"VERONIQUE" BY TOMAOTOMO

Tomaotomo is a fashion brand tailored for a perfect world for self-confident women. It is created by Tomasz Olejniczak – the gifted designer from Poznań, who understands the nature of women very well. I am following his achievements from the very beginning of his career. I have always known that Tomasz had a great potential, which would slowly evolve into his new perfect collection. The designer repeatedly presented his collections at Fashion Week Poland in Łódź. This time he showed his first independent fashion show  in Soho Factory in Warsaw. Until the very moment I was thinking what I would see during the show.. His previous collections emphasized feminine silhouette very consistently, which were definitely designed for strong women. Those collections were good, but fairly predictable.

BLACK REBELLION

I have always been the greatest enemy of black color. At now this is the moment in which I decided to rebel a bit and I want to see if it is good for me. I got some time ago an awesome jacket with skirt from the Polish designer Ewa Szabatin. I was thinking about it for very long time. My dilemma was huge because I'm obsessed with the color and style of dandies.

I put on the very powerful styling ! The jacket and skirt are mixed with heavy boots and a great jacket from MMC Studio brand. The coat is oversize, because my silhouette is proportional thanks to a deep black. The whole styling is black & white, only socks and clutch bring some confusion. Shirt with black piping adds some elegant character, but it's only appearances. Despite the subdued color this styling is not obvious (so boring). Extravagant wins in the end - I like it! Of course, I would not be myself if I forgot about futuristic accessories. This time that role was played by the watch and bracelet.

With this styling I know that black does not have to be trivial. The devil is in fact how we treat it, whether we play with form of clothes  or additives. I never thought that black color would dominate the whole styling. Apparently I like to surprise myself! I am glad that my choice of outfit did not lost my spirit. Like my the fashion idol - Marc Jacobs, I think that it is worth playing with fashion and be open to different styles. I hope that you agree with me :)

FASHION STATION

I do not like routine. I'm the type of person who likes change and loves to take risks. So it is with my stylings. I love the saturated colors, I have dandy's wardrobe, but sometimes I am a kind of a rebel. Of course, this is also due to the fact that I like heavy rhythms and the music of The Rolling Stones flows in my veins. Well, you can see it in my today's styling, which I had during the first day of Fashion Week Poland SS2014. Definitely, there is no place for the lush colors and polite additives, and looking at the jacket, you can not deny it!
I remember moment when I watched the Burberry collection for seasson spring/summer 2011 and I saw beautiful biker jacket with spikes. I started to believe that one day something similar will be on my shoulders. You have to believe me! This is due to the company "Kocham Ostre Ćwieki". I love my new awesome leather jacket. Despite the large weight, ramones always have a special place in my wardrobe.
The whole styling is carefully thought out. Black and white leggings with shirt are perfect duet. Boots, plaid shirt and lenon glasses are an expression of the love of rock'n'roll. Futuristic accesories or earrings and bracelets add a more of contemporary character for styling. Cap is intended to show everyone who I am! Sequin, perfectly reflects the light in the Warsaw underground.
Be flexible in your styling because it is an expression of good style.

We know that sometimes we are crazy while doing shopping. It is not a sin, but only when we buy the good quality clothes that will be usued for several seasons. PHOTOSHOOTING FOR ELLE WITH OLA RUDNICKA

From Wednesday (9th January) you can buy the latest February edition of Elle Poland magazine. This is a unique edition for me, because I contributed to it. I had the pleasure to assist Head of the Department of Fashion - Ina Lekiewicz with photo session. I am very pleased that the editors of the prestigious magazine entrusted me and let get involved in styling session's for the Elle cover. Ola Rudnicka is heroine in this issue - top model from Model Plus agency, who walks the catwalk for the top designer (the last season could be seen on the catwalk at Louis Vuitton , Prada, Celine and Miu Miu ). For the brand Miu Miu, Ola closed the show - this is very important because closing the show is a great honor for a model.

As for my contribution to the session - I had to get the clothes from designers for the session and there were over 150 ! Leitmotif images were mainly pastel colors, oversize forms and geometric cuts . There were clothes from international designer tickets like dress on the cover of Stella MacCartney, and Polish like Mariusz Przybylski, Joanna Klimas , Bohoboco or MMC . Unpacking clothes in the studio required a lot of time. The entire session lasted 12 hours, even though everyone was happy with results of shooting - in addition , it was fun , tasty and danceable ! Ola is a great girl who behaves incredibly in front of the camera. You can certainly call it professional and working with her is a pleasure. In addition , I prepared for you photos from backstage of session, as well as short videos , which you can also see on my Instagram(here). I shall conclude that the year 2014 began favorably for me and it is nice to see one's name in the magazine Elle Poland . Have a fun with viewing photos and you must buy the latest Elle magazine, you will not regret it! :)

RÊVE PARISIEN!

Paris has always been on my list of cities that I would like to visit - maybe it's a matter of French music that I so often heard in my house and language that my brother was learning. When I won the PUMA contest and photo session of my dreams, I could choose the city anywhere in Europe where the session would take place. I knew that Paris was for me and finally my dreams came true!

I was nervous many weeks before my departure to Paris. I wanted the session for PUMA to be the most professional. On the day of departure in late August, there was a heavy rain at the airport. Despite the early hour, I was very, very excited, differing in this respect from the majority of sleepy passengers. Once I sat down in the plane's chair, I knew I was not dreaming!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014!

My Dears !
The Year 2013 ended! This Year was very unusual for me. I met wonderful people who have inspired me and supported in achieving my goals .
A internship in Elle magazine, photo session in Paris and many other adventures, which I had the opportunity to experience in the past year .
I would like  My Dear Readers to thank you that you are with me! Your activity, comments are very precious to me! Hopefully, the Year 2014 will be a breakthrough for me, apart from that I am preparing for you many changes in the blog, which you'll see soon ;)

I would like to wish you a wonderful 2014 !!!
That you fulfill your dreams without losing the confidence in yourself. Love your loved ones, because love in the coming year once again will be very fashionable ;)

This special night I spent on the beach with my friends. My dream will come true. I'm thrilled :)
